    Principle Attorney (LLB)
    Currently holds a LLB from the University of South Africa and is an admitted attorney. He is duly admitted to appear in all courts within the Republic of South Africa. He has extensive experience in family law matters as well as criminal and civil litigation. He is currently a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces as well as the Law Society of KwaZulu-Natal. Appears in courts in both Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal. Specializes in: Family law, estates, labour law, criminal litigation (High Court & Regional Court)

    Currently holds a LLB from the University of Natal. Has 22 years experience as an attorney. He is based at our Johannesburg office. He specialises in Criminal Law and Family Law.

  • Suvani Moodley

    Admitted Attorney (LLB, LLM - Criminal Law)
    Joined the firm in 2022. She is an admitted attorney and holds both a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws Degree in Advanced Criminal Justice, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Howard College Campus). Her areas of interest include criminal litigation, administration of deceased estates, family law, labour law, property law and contract law.

  • Siraaj Khan

    Admitted Attorney (LLB, LLM - Medical Law)
    Joined the firm in 2013. He holds both a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws Degree in Medical Law, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Howard College) Campus. Mr Khan is admitted to appear in all courts within the Republic of South Africa. During his tenure at the firm he specialized in litigation and drafting of contracts. In October 2015, Mr Khan joined the Faculty of Law at Rhodes University where he teaches Criminal Law, Civil Procedure and Introduction to Legal Theory. He remains a consultant with the firm. Specializes in: Contracts, medical negligence , motor vehicle accidents and criminal law

  • Ché Raul Maharaj

    Legal Consultant (LLB)
    Ché holds a LLB and is a Legal Consultant to the firm, having joined the team in 2023. Specialising in Employment Law, BEE, Contract Drafting and Consumer Protection Law for nearly 10 years, Ché has extensive experience in efficiently finding a solution to legal compliance challenges faced by companies. He also specialises in ensuring compliance in respect of: Employment Law: including Chairing of Disciplinary hearings and similar internal procedures; POPIA and PAIA; BEE Verfication and Certification.

    Candidate Attorney (LLB)
    Graduated with an LLB from the University of the Free State and joined the firm as candidate attorney in 2021. He is an open and determined individual who seeks to join the legal fraternity and assist his community through the avenues of the law.

  • Minenhle Shusha

    Candidate Attorney (LLB)
    Currently holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She joined Ureesh Dorasamy & Associates as a receptionist in 2021. She then registered her articles in 2022. She is a determined individual who seeks to use the law to effect change in people's lives. She has a keen interest in property law, criminal law and administration of deceased estates.

  • Nokukhanya Dube

    Candidate Attorney (LLB)
    Joined the firm in 2023. She holds a National Completed her LLB through university of South Africa and has commenced with articles. She is a professional legal administrative assistant and is knowledgeable in legal office administration including drafting legal documents, court filings and legal procedures.

  • Jyoti Madanlal

    Secretary
    She has experience in various secretarial duties with a focus on conveyancing (70%). This includes preparing property transfer documents, handling bond registrations with banks (Standard Bank & Nedbank), and managing the process up to registration. She also have experience with estates (20%) including drafting documents and obtaining legal authorization. Additionally, they have experience with collections (10%) and general office tasks (drafting legal documents, bookkeeping, managing appointments).
