    Attorney (LLB)
    Currently holds a LLB from the University of South Africa and is an admitted attorney. He is duly admitted to appear in all courts within the Republic of South Africa. He has extensive experience in family law matters as well as criminal and civil litigation. He is currently a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces as well as the Law Society of KwaZulu-Natal. Appears in courts in both Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal. Specializes in: Family law, estates, labour law, criminal litigation (High Court & Regional Court)

  • Ashin Rajdew

    Admitted Attorney (LLB)
    He has served as an admitted attorney since the 17th of May 2007. Throughout his career, he has garnered and grown a passion for law and litigation in serving his clientele diligently and faithfully. With 19 years of post-admission experience, he has honed his litigation skills in serving both private and government organizations, as well as several high-profile matters in the public eye. He has represented a wide clientele in various fields of law at both the Magistrate and High Court levels – including bail applications, labour matters before both the CCMA and Bargaining Councils, divorce matters, harassment and domestic violence applications, Children’s Court and civil applications.

  • Suvani Moodley

    Admitted Attorney (LLB, LLM - Criminal Law)
    Joined the firm in 2022. She is an admitted attorney and holds both a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws Degree in Advanced Criminal Justice, from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Howard College Campus). Her areas of interest include criminal litigation, administration of deceased estates, family law, labour law, property law and contract law.

  • Ché Raul Maharaj

    Legal Consultant (LLB)
    Ché holds a LLB and is a Legal Consultant to the firm, having joined the team in 2023. Specialising in Employment Law, BEE, Contract Drafting and Consumer Protection Law for nearly 10 years, Ché has extensive experience in efficiently finding a solution to legal compliance challenges faced by companies. He also specialises in ensuring compliance in respect of: Employment Law: including Chairing of Disciplinary hearings and similar internal procedures; POPIA and PAIA; BEE Verfication and Certification.

  • Liam van der Merwe

    Admitted Attorney (LLB)
    An admitted attorney holding a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Free State. He is dedicated to assisting our clientele in understanding and navigating the complexities of the legal system. He attends to matters in various spheres of law; including family law, divorce law, civil litigation, wills and deceased estates, domestic violence and protection orders, maintenance matters, and rental property disputes.

  • Minenhle Shusha

    Admitted Attorney (LLB)
    Shusha holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She joined Ureesh Dorasamy & Associates in 2021 as a receptionist and worked her way to being an Admitted Attorney in 2025. Shusha is a determined Attorney who seeks to use the law to effect change in people’s lives. She has a keen interest in property law, criminal law and labour law.

  • Nokukhanya Dube

    Candidate Attorney (LLB)
    Nokukhanya joined the firm in 2023. She holds an LLB degree from the University of South Africa and a National Diploma in Business Law. She has since commenced her articles of clerkship and is gaining practical experience in various areas of law. Her legal career began as an Administrative Assistant, where she gained first-hand experience in the daily workings of legal practice. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for justice led to her progression into her current role as a Candidate Legal Practitioner, where she is completing her articles of clerkship. Nokukhanya is actively involved in legal research, drafting of pleadings and legal correspondence, court preparation, and client interaction. Her key areas of interest include family law, debt collection, property law, and the administration of deceased estate.

    LLB
    She currently holds a BA Law (Law, Psychology) and an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand. She joined the firm in 2025 as a Candidate Attorney and is committed to making a meaningful impact in the legal field.

  • Jyoti Madanlal

    Secretary
    An experienced and dedicated legal administrator and conveyancing secretary. Skilled in conveyancing procedures, legal documentation, client liaison and trust account administration. Known for professionalism, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail, with a strong track record of managing end-to-end conveyancing matters, preparing transfer documentation, liaising with banks and estate agents, coordinating legal administration, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the law firm.
